Enterprise Sales Manager US (m/f/d)

As an Enterprise Sales Manager you will have exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a unique growth story and help shape the future of Exasol in one of the most dynamic technology markets today. Your responsibilities will include driving adoption and growth within medium to large enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to engage at CIO and CTO level as well as with BI architects, data warehouse managers and database admins. We expect a high-level of motivation, willingness to adapt and learn, the ability to apply hard-won experience to a new situation and the clear understanding of how to work self-sufficiently but also in a matrix organization.

  • You are responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
  • You know how to establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • You facilitate the involvement of other internal departments such as for example; Presales, Partner Management and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones for a one- and three-year period.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with Implementation and Technology Partners.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of our solution and offerings.
  • Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • You are a strong individual contributor with a great attitude and strong values, being part of the team is a key success factor.
  • Regular reporting on progress with accounts, forecasts to the Sr Director of Sales US.
