Field Marketing Manager UK (m/f/d)

As a Field Marketing Manager (m/f/d) for the UK, you will be responsible for planning, executing and measuring marketing programs, direct and through the partner ecosystem. As a primary objective your marketing activities generate new business and promote our offering in the United Kingdom’s Enterprise space. Your marketing plans consist of multi-touch, multi-channel programs that are buyer centric (Business Lines, Functional IT, Partner) and include inbound and outbound activities. You will act as a business partner to the UK team, formulating innovative and ambitious marketing plans, which success will be the contribution to the business, with a strong focus on direct marketing and through partner activities.

Overview of the role:

  • Drive demand to acquire new customers, with a greater emphasize on key verticals (Retail & eCommerce, Healthcare and Finance)
  • Drive demand through an account-based marketing strategy
  • Leverage corporate tools to animate the business lines, functional IT and partner communities
  • Generate awareness and thought leadership for Exasol, by partnering with global stakeholders on Digital and Social programs
  • Drive incremental growth by executing on joint marketing plans with our key partners and technological alliances

      The role has 2 focus areas:

      1. End to end lead generation

  • Understand and apply Exasol’s lead gen model, including Digital Marketing, leads follow up with the sales teams (Inside Sales and Field Sales in the UK), clear understanding of metrics to influence the lead transformation at each stage of the funnel
  • Position Exasol’s offering, by executing solution-led, persona-based, multi-channel campaigns
  • Increase current account penetration
  • Work on the best marketing mix with the marketing lead and the extended global team
  • Execute local events
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs

       2. Partner marketing

  • Develop 6 months plans with key partners Agree strategy and channel coverage model with your local channel leads. Build and execute 6-month GTM plans with our key focus partners. Drive incremental pipeline and revenue from these partners.
  • Drive usage of our Partner Marketing tools: in-the-box demand gen
  • Support the execution of our annual flagship event Xperience
  • Measure the ROI of our partner programs by encouraging the partners to use our deal registration program

Who are you?

The successful candidate will be Marketing professional with experience working within the IT industry, preferably within Infrastructure or Analytics. He/She will be results-driven and have a proven track record of ROI. He/She will have experience executing online/digital campaigns as well as experience working with the channel. The candidate will also be responsible for planning, budget management and tracking of ROI (contribution to pipeline). He/She will communicate regularly on progress against plan to key stakeholders.You will have an outward facing perspective and be open minded to bringing new ideas through your experience and network. Good interpersonal skills as you will need to multi-task and work with different levels of sales, partner team and management on a daily basis. The role will require a dynamic, flexible person who can think creatively and be adaptable to the fast-changing environment.
