Research Analyst (m/f/d)

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Research Analyst to join our global market intelligence team based in central London. In this role you will be responsible for assessing the latest industry, market and technology trends and turning these into value-adding insights that shape our global story and drive a dynamic and fast-growing business.
 

You will have a technology background with experience of working in a research role. You will quickly develop a deep understanding of our unique technology, key messaging, vision, purpose and mission, and harness this to oversee, develop and execute a range of market intelligence programs. You will be skilled at sourcing, managing and interpreting information, as well as creating narratives that outline the implications for the company and competition. And you’ll be able to use your analytical, creative, and enquiring mind to report and communicate your findings effectively to different internal audiences.

 

That's waiting for you:

  • Assess market trends and dynamics within the analytics database market and its surrounding ecosystem.Develop in-depth knowledge of key geographies, industries and provider strategies (including industry use cases, competitive positioning, business drivers and IT investment priorities)
  • Develop and extend analytical frameworks to analyse and detect the evolution of key markets and technology developments relevant to the company.
  • Build out a compelling narrative around research and disseminate findings through deliverables such as webinars, research notes, and in-person presentations
  • Support the corporate communications and marketing team in related programs and activities through written and visual content
  • Respond to time-sensitive internal market intelligence requests.

Your profile:

  • At least 2 to 3 years of research experience, preferably from an IT industry analyst firm, market research provider or agency
  • Clearly understands technology and can abstract the business and solution value.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex topics in a concise and clear manner
  • The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
  • Previous experience in data analytics and cloud computing environments is desirable
