Enterprise Sales Manager UK (m/f/d)

As a Sales Manager for Enterprise Accounts you are primarily responsible to establish and extent a solid customer base out of dedicated, high potential accounts within the United Kingdom. The key mission is to achieve your individual revenue targets by selling Exasol Software, Support and Service within strategic projects. The ability to develop and coordinate a cross-functional team environment will be critical to the success of this position.

Key responsibilities:

  • Autonomous acquisition of new customers through multiple channels by creating new sales initiatives in relation to customer’s key businesses
  • Taking the responsibility for the whole sales cycle, starting with presenting Exasol in different business units, managing PoC’s, creating appropriate quotations, handling negotiations and the win of new deals on executive level
  • Capitalize industry knowledge and existing network to uncover new business opportunities
  • Use acquisition strategies based on Exasol USP’s, strength and use cases to generate a pipeline to increase yearly revenue within the assigned Enterprise Accounts
  • Utilize Exasol values to generate comprehensive and convincing communications on all account hierarchies to become recognized as industry specialist and trustful provider of innovative analytics
  • Understand customer business and challenges and convert them into Exasol use cases to dedicated accounts
  • Establish and enhance relationships with the System Integrator, Technology Partners or Consulting Companies to ensure the timely delivery and acceleration of Exasol analytics to business users, clients and consumers
  • Use a consulting and solution orientated sales methodic to convince enterprises in a competent and efficient way
  • Rely on excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to initiate and maintain executive-level interaction and customer satisfaction

Your profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in selling enterprise software and consulting services in the B2B market
  • Previous experience within the cloud / data warehouse / enterprise software industry is a plus
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
  • Proven ability to run a full Sales Cycle, incorporating a “Gladiator” mentality with the ability to win highly competitive situations
  • Experienced in orchestrating campaigns and individual customer facing events to build a pipeline from scratch
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Good listener and excellent executor
  • Pro-active, strategic thinker with high energy and a positive attitude
  • Strong sales and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Experience in working for innovative, young companies is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Fluent in the English and German language
